Cwiny Nia Initiative (CN Initiative) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Garland, Texas, and provides services in Garland, downtown Dallas, and part of Oak Cliff. We are dedicated to strengthening the well-being of individuals and families impacted by poverty, housing instability, and involvement with the justice system.

Who We Are

We stand with people in crisis — unhoused neighbors, individuals kept in jail pretrial because they lack the resources or support to secure release, and families with loved ones who are or have been incarcerated — so that freedom, dignity, and real support are within reach for everyone. Rooted in a founder’s lived faith and community care, we pair compassion with evidence-based solutions to meet urgent needs, restore families, and push systems to truly serve those most affected.
